I just got a new bike (trek fx2 gen4), first time having disc brakes, the rear wheel is spinning freely but on the front wheel the brake disc is touching the inside pad, is it fine and if not is there an way to adjust it, thank you!

Yes. Loose the 2 bolts on the caliper with an allen key. Pull the brake lever and tighten the bolts again all while keeping the lever pulled. Should do the trick.
The calipers should have some horizontal play for adjustment, just loosen the bolts.
Loosen both bolts holding the caliper on the fork. Then looking down into the pads align the caliper in the middle of the rotor. You should have a sliver of daylight between both pads and rotor. Then tighten the bolts.
Check the rotor isn’t rubbing and repeat if necessary.
