Am I an idiot? It seems like the toolkit prevents folding on my new P line.
This is my first Brompton, so I may be doing something wrong, but it sure seems like the right hole and orientation. The socket head impinges on the clamp nut as pictured, preventing it from folding. I can't push the toolkit in any further.

Is your hinge clamp bolt/lever the stock one? I have the first batch P line and the hinge clamp/lever looks different. It is not that long as the one you show in your picture. Did you change it? If you are using stock components they should fit.

## Fitting
Fits inside the front frame tube in a neat, enclosed package on all A line, C line and P line bikes (made after 2004), including Brompton Electric C Line and P Line bikes MK1. The Toolkit is not compatible with bikes built prior to 2004.
## Note
This toolkit does not fit in the mainframe of the T line and G line bikes. The Toolkit is not compatible with bikes built prior to 2004, as these have a shorter wheelbase than current bikes

Nutso. Seems like a really fuggin obvious thing to check for basic QA on Brompton’s part. Not one person thought to try out the Brompton toolset when redesigning the hinge and building thousands of new bikes?
it looks like it might not be fully seated in the tube. try twisting it around a bit and seeing if it can go further into the tube. i have to twist mine around a bit to get it all the way in. took me a few tries, might want to try too!
