Hey everyone,
I recently noticed that the outer gray padding strips inside my road bike helmet feel pretty loose and can move around quite a bit. They don’t seem to be glued down firmly.
Is that normal for modern road helmets, or are the pads supposed to sit tighter in place?
The helmet is otherwise new and undamaged. Just wondering if this is by design for ventilation/comfort or if something is wrong.

I’ve had two, both loose. So I figured it’s supposed to be like that indeed.
Yes they are loose like that but they don’t move around nor should you feel it when you’re wearing it. They are not glued down because you can remove the padding to clean it.
