Can you please tell me what Drivetrain you have and why did you chose to go with a 1x for bikepacking ?
This is my Rockrider ST120 which I currently use as my “Commute/XC” bike. But after I get a proper MTB, I am thinking of converting this to a “Commute/Long Distance on Road” bike and I was torn between keeping the 1x Drivetrain or converting it to a 2x.
For simplicity and reliability. I prefer climbing so the choice. I have many bikes and a commute one too. It’s a SRAM XX 10-52 and a 34 front ring. Expensive but so smooth
