Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice regarding my 2023 Canyon Ultimate.
Unfortunately, I stripped the head of the seat post clamp bolt after mistakenly using an Allen key instead of a Torx bit. I’ve since taken the bike to two different shops, including a Canyon authorized service provider, but neither has been able to resolve the issue so far.
It’s been over a week and I’m starting to lose hope. The current shop believes the bolt is seized, and because of that they haven’t been able to get it to move at all.
I’m wondering if anyone else with a Canyon has run into a similar problem and, if so, what solution ended up working for you?

You need to either send it back to canyon or leave it with a reputable bike shop, if it’s truly stripped or cross threaded you to let the professionals handle it
It Looks Like it’s already close to be screwed loose. Just wedge your allen in there, screw it Loose all the way, and get a new one. Fyi if you don’t know, you need to take out the Seat tube and screw it all the way in again to get it out, because it’s fixed to the plastic Inside which clamps against the Seat tube. Got the Same Ultimate and had the same issue and got a new one a Week ago

Do you also have the issue of paint cracks in the chain stay? Got a new Frame a few weeks back because of it and Canyon not being sure if it’s a structural issue, and the new one already also has one
I had this happen to me for the same reason on the exact same bike. I used an Allen wrench instead of the torx wrench and rounded out the head.
I ended up having to drill the bolt out. It was nerve wracking and any wrong move could have ruined the frame. It took several hours. Luckily for me it all worked out. I got the bolt out and then ran a tap bit through it to clean up the treads.
A bit of advice:
* Find a pro if you are at all uncomfortable doing this yourself. Paying someone is worth it to avoid ruining your frame.
* Buy the new seat post clamp now, since shipping takes a while.
* Match the tap bit threads with the new seat post clamp to make sure you use the correct size.
* Apply some anti seize or grease to the new clamp and check it every few months.
