Here’s what e-bike companies will never tell you when you’re shopping for electric bikes. What if I told you that over 24,000 e-bikes were recalled in 2025 alone due to battery fires? That’s not a manufacturing glitch – twenty-four thousand dangerous bikes were sold to unsuspecting customers who thought they were getting a bargain. Picture yourself excited about your new commute only to wake up to your garage in flames because your e-bike’s battery exploded while charging overnight.

I only buy e-bike with either Samsung or LG battery equipped.
No matter which E Bike you own the best way to avoid battery explosion or fire : 1 – never charge it straight away after each daily use! Leave it at least 30 minutes to cool down before charging then dβont ride it until another 30 minutes later. I got e bike for almost 3 years and Iβd never problem with it except unknown monkey arsehole damage the terminal battery as sabotage later I replaced it with new battery and it wasnβt the problem that cost me Β£ 100 for total repair. I upgraded everything even hydraulic break. These armholes even they canβt steal it they will able to damage it
Another AI generated it easy to recognize they use the same voice
Darum kauft man ein E Bike auch nur im Fahrrad FachgeschΓ€ft vor Ort. ππ
What a joke!
My ebike company did the back and forth BS for months and kept asking for videos of the problems, not easy Victrip is the brand
Super 73 worthless costumer support

Only ebike with Lithium battery explodes better to use lead acid is the
My bike dealer told me the very first thing was the battery yes they do tell you donβt lie
Intense and Santa Cruz have awesome electric mountain bikes!
Your best list has ebikes with dangerous cheap quick release wheels instead of thru axles.
AI voice is a dead giveaway that this is propaganda crap.
Donβt forget Canyon. They let their owners stew for over a year.
CHARGE YOUR EBIKE WHILE YOU ARE AROUND. ALSO NEW CHARGERS HAVE A FAN BUILT IN. IT IS OK TO BUY A CHEAPBIKE ON LINE AS THEY ARE ALL MADE IN CHINA. PROBLEM WAS WITH 4 YEAR OLDER BIKES.
Note to self: never charge an e-bike overnight
Thanks for all. I am big fan electric. Can not afford car. Staying away from e-bikes so far. Price / cheap scary I stay with your advice. Only electric if I buy π
So what do they get for helping you w your case review
Well, my E-CELLS brand AWD E-Mountain Bike was, and still is, doing great. BUT the company, only 50 miles from my home, near Las Vegas, went out of business 3 years after I got my bike.
Luckily the owner/designer had specified good quality, readily available components from reputable companies like Samsung batteries, TEKTRO brakes and Shimano gearing plus BAFANG motors and torque sensor. EVERY component except the frame is easily replaceable. So thanks to the. owner/designer my bike will last many years even with replacing parts that wear out. And HOPEFuLLY when my batteries both need that expensive rebuild there will be SOLiD STATE battery cells available, or maybe aluminum-ion battery cells. Of course that will mean buying a quality charger to adapt to them. Hopefully the power level will be nearly the same and permit me to continue using the very good 52V Sine Wave 18 MOFSET controller.
How much $$$ did the βtop 5β pay you ? ππΌ
Stop buying e bikes on line buy them from a reportable dealer.
Ummmm What about the V3 BillyGoat? I think you are missing something.
I've had four E-bikes over the last decade. And my Pedego platinum interspector is still going strong. Has only loss one bar on the battery. Still riding it today. Bought it in 2016. My latest one is a Wired Freedom. So far it's been reliable and the power is awesome as I live in a area that has Many hills that my Pedego just can't handle. And I'm 68 now and with the medical problems My Wired I have it makes it so easy to go just about anywhere. On super bowl Sunday I rode it all the way from hermosa Beach to Venice Beach along the bike path. Mostly just cruising in Pas one. Witch I programed to top out at about fifteen miles an hour. It was a thirty two mile ride. And got back home using only ten percent of my batteries. I'm very impressed by that. Sure I could have gone a lot faster but would have had to ride on the streets because the speed limit is supposed to be Eight miles an hour on the beach bike path and I was getting passed by dozens kids on their ebikes easily going twenty plus. I've lost a lot of weight in the last ten years from 6'4" a hundred and ninety to one forty. My Pedego unlocked widow about 28 mph on flat ground but falls down to about 20mph after about ten to fifteen miles. We're my Wired tops out at about 40 miles an hour. All the way down to twenty percent of the battery's. 500w on the Pedego Vs about 3500W the Wired can peak up to. Infact they call it a PPB. Power performance bike. Instead of an ebike. But I'm perfectly happy doing 20 to 25 mph all day. But it's So nice having all that power especially on hilly areas. But it's so nice to know that you have that extra power available when needed. π«
Ebikes prices are out of reach for ordinary folks. Since they can only afford cheap chinese ebikes. USA ebikes are only for the rich.
I own 2 velotric fat tire bikes. I literally ride em hard and put em away wet. They have been good until now I have a electirical problem in one. Customer support is there but could be better. Parts are available. Batteries in Velotric are one of the few that are certified.
I do not charge by battery overnight.
I will be awake when I charge it… and I will check on it every hour.
This is a fairly accurate video. I have 12 years of ebike shop experience. I question the choice of Lectric based on sales volume.
Here is what I know, a tire with an electric motor hub is or was about $100 last year, schwinn aluminum frame was about $40 at the thrift store and that is about all that needs to be said. Ride on and stay joyfilled.
1:56 literally my like shop itβs called Petaluma motor wheel and is right across the downtown movie theater
Interesting observation on the Velotric Discover 1. I bought two Discover 1's for me and my wife in November of 2022. We are full time RV'ers and typically look for RV parks with bike trails close by. We have had to replace the main wiring harness on both bikes and the display on my bike after a crash. All of my contacts with Velotric was via e-mail and I received very quick responses, even on weekends. I supply them with my bike's serial numbers, they send me an invoice, I charge the parts, and usually received them in about a week. All of our issues were outside the warranty coverage. I would take the recommendations from this video with a grain of salt.
I'm tired of so many manufacturers adding suspension forks to their commuter e bikes since most of that type of users has NO need for the suspension and added weight. For urban commuting and paved roads, a rigid fork offers a superior experience, offering lighter weight, higher efficiency, and lower maintenance compared to suspension models. They provide a more direct, responsive ride, often at a lower price point.
I purchased a lectric xp4 750 watt less than a year ago. It is more of an older person bike. The battery has become very weak. I ride in Turbo mode most of the time and I rode 18 miles today and the battery went from 90% to 20%. I had to cut my ride short. The same ride 8-9 months ago the battery would drop about 20% not 70%. Will see if they warranty it.
My family has owned three Ancheer e-bikes for 4 years and have never had any problems. The batteries never get hot and we have lotz of fun!
Another AI video.
Some of these manufacturers are MAD at this video! π€
Buying a ZnH 1000w..for a cross country ride..
