These are Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus 55-622 (28×2,15') after 4k kilometres .
The strange part is they are in good condition except for that area.
And I have never used the breaks with force I actually barely brake in general.
Any ideas why it's messed up in just one location?

“And I have never used the breaks with force I actually barely brake in general.”….. apart from that wicked 20m skid I pulled.
……you do know that we do know what a tyre looks like when it has been skidded on? (( has the bike been ridden on by riders unknown?? ))
I remember going across Asia with schwalbe XR folding touring tyres. They lasted around 1500km IIRC at which point I replaced them with cheap Chinese types that lasted 4 times that.
Don’t get me wrong, I use Schwalbe on my day to day bike and my Brompton, wouldn’t fit anything else. But in my (albeit limited) experience their touring tyres aren’t so good.
My friend, that tire is done. That’s the anti puncture material.
Move more weight forward if possible. Rotate tires every 1000km
Just curious: what kind of pressure have you run in this tire?
