About to head home and found the rear wheel flat. No problem I have spares. My co2 head has developed a fault and the bike pump has can't attach to some presta valves with plastic stems rather than metal…like the tpu tubes. All the kit, none of it works.

I wonder about this. I have a handful of CO2 inflators but I’ve never tested most of them because… that means wasting a cartridge. So I guess I’ll find out in an emergency 😛

A hand pump will give you endless air.
Yeah this happened to me once. I got a hand pump used from the co-op and it seemed solid, but as soon as I tried to lock it on the valve it wouldn’t work. I was so bummed. However while I was struggling on the side of the road, an employee from that same co-op came to save the day
