This is the best reference for building wheels thag I've found. It's "the Bicycle Wheel" by Jobst Brandt. These are the pages that I use for establishing the pattern. The book is long and gets into a lot of theory, but when I just need to remember where to start, this is it.

we use this book at work. it’s really good.
For people familiar with shadow libraries, a scanned PDF version of this book is easily found. Worth finding if you ask me
Been building wheels for 32 years and this is the only book I’ve ever used.
I prefer The Art of Wheel Building by Gerd Schraner, but whatever works for you to get your wheel built is a good source IMO!
Thanks so much for this! Building my first wheel next week.
Good shout. Just ordered a copy.
Thanks! Saved!
100% lubricate your spoke threads, adjusting or taking apart a wheel later on is unbelievably easier
Only pdf I’ve ever paid for.
Good
As someone who has been a professional wheelbuilder for just over 30 years, this book is fantastic.
