I got the C-line 1975 edition shortly after it came out in the US market, initially as a collector’s piece. But fast forward nearly 9 months and barely using it at all in special occasions only, I lowkey thought the bike deserved to be ridden more. It is a Brompton after all, and it’s designed to stand the test of time for everyday commuting, regardless of the distance.
So I went on a 25-mile ride on it, going through the hills, rough roads and even some gravel; and yep, the bike can definitely take it beautifully. Although, I did clean it a little bit afterwards lol. Overall, the fact that this bike is rare shouldn’t be a deterrent to use it like normal. I’m strongly considering making it my daily commuter for a while because I just enjoy riding it that much. But that’s just me. For anyone who has a limited edition Brompton, I’d like to know how often do you use it.

Does look very picturesque, I don’t have a limited edition Brompton but I have a 1 of 6 hand built bikes made by a car company, it might have some value in it but then again it has looked very nice on my wall though it hasn’t been ridden enough at all.
