Just finished putting together this basket setup on my rack. Since I don't have welding equipment..or the skills, I had to get creative. It’s held together by some random bracketing, a latch, and a prayer. oh and nuts and bolts too.
It passes the shake test surprisingly well, though I haven't taken it out for a proper fully-loaded test ride yet.

Dude, sick! I’ve been looking to do this on the rear rack so I can run panniers sometimes, or have a friend sit on the back. Awesome!
