Let me preface this by saying, I know now not to inflate close to the limit, especially when parked in the sun for several hours. My first blowout was most likely due to overinflation. with new gravelkings installed on Sunday though and ridden to and from work I've had three deflations that I'm thinking are probably from being in the sun from 7a-330p. Today I ran 10psi under the max, tomorrow I'll go a full 15 under. Any other tips for keeping the tires inflated? If we are flat again tomorrow I'll probably just start over, re-tape, re-install, maybe even switch to non-black tires.

If they’ve always blown off the rim bead is likely stretched.
Install new tires, and park in the shade.

How much sealant did you put in there?!?
It looks like someone spilt chocolate milk all over the tire
I was parking my tubeless gravel bike in a sunny spot and wondering why I always came back to flat tyres at the end of the day. As I later discovered, not only did the heat and consequent pressure cause air to escape somewhere, but the rim tape shrank and so after a while it couldn’t hold a seal any more because there was a section the rim tape wasn’t sealing. Guys at the LBS were like “why didn’t you put the rim tape all the way round?” to which I had to say “you guys were the one who installed it” – so I guess they didn’t know it can shrink, either.
What is tire size and what PSI are you running? Seems like you should be worrying about max PSI but what’s appropriate for the size and weight.
Wow! How hot was it today?
You have way more sealant than needed in there
Crazy i put a brand new purgatory mtb tire on and it was 30-35 c out and same thing, blew up on the rack behind the car.
A couple of my mountain bikes, when I put it in the hot garage the rear tire tends to deflate. When kept in the house, it’s fine. This thread is helping me understand why.
10psi under the max, meaning the maximum pressure the tire can take according to the sidewall? That’s still probably way too much pressure for a tubeless setup. I run 30psi in similarly sized tires and they work great.
You can use a tire pressure calculator like this for a rough estimate: [https://silca.cc/pages/pro-tire-pressure-calculator](https://silca.cc/pages/pro-tire-pressure-calculator)
Go tubeless they said… It’ll be easier and better they said…
Ride and share!
Thats how you carry selant for your group ride. !

Tryna just make a homebrew insert I see.
Once they blow off, the tire is compromised. Maybe the tape is as well. The sun can raise pressure by 5-15+ psi depending on heat and time in the sun. I’d get a new tire and check your wheel before assuming you can just fix it for tomorrow
