I impulse bought this. It needs a new front brake cable, front shift cable, and bar tape. I've been wanting a bike to learn how to work on bikes without putting my gravel bike out of service.
Wheels are true, and rear derailleur and rear brake works without issue.
It's a 61 and I'm 6'2" so it's maybe a size big for me. Not sure yet if I'll use it as an around town bike or sell after I fix it up.

Very good. Congratulations
it’s probably too big but for your stated goals you did well.
Great deal
Very nice. I love that era of bike with carbon stays. Roubaix is a nice choice, it had clearance for bigger tires than ypically found on road bikes from the era
Tuning the triple front is tricky, but do-able on Shimano 105 and higher tiers. Watch youtube and learn about the “trim clicks” in the shifter. Also consider installing an in-line cable adjuster if there is no barrel adjuster on the frame, cable stretch with the high spring tension on front derailleur needs significant adjustment after the first week or so.
