Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t they (used to) have both a metal beaded and later kevlar beaded version of these tires? This was over a decade ago though..🤔 This would cause for a noticeable difference in weight, obviously..
Other than that, I’d think the lower psi version would be more suitable to use for dirt riding, the higher psi version being perhaps more of a street oriented tyre?
I run the 24” version of these on a street style mtb, and they seem to only be available the 65psi, but have held up without any issues..

100psi version has double layer casing and is heavier

Thinner sidewall and they’re slightly lighter . I had a set a few years back because they were on discount and I wanted to try something new.
I ended up selling them 3 weeks after and went back to trusty animal glh. I grind a lot and I under rotate out of grinds a little too often than I would like. I noticed that even at 60psi my tyre felt soft and it was almost coming off the rim if I landed heavy. These are the only tyres i ever had pinch flats with as well. I lived in a constant state of fear that it’s going to explode.
The person I sold them to still has them and has only good things to say about them so i guess a lot depends on how you ride.
Below is the photo of a somewhat bad attempt at switch double peg 180. (I still rolled away so it couldn’t be that bad of an attempt)
I really didn’t like these tires. I’ve slid out several times on asphalt and cement with them.
I switched to Eclat Fireball tires.

I have the path pro 100psi and bought my bike with them on like two years ago. I’ve put hundreds of miles on them including park, dirt, and street. I run them at 70psi and have zero complaints.
