What surface are you riding on? How much experience do you have? How leaned over do you want to be? The cannondale topstone will work better for a gravel ride while the trek will be better for road

How tall are you?

i did a century recently with someone who had the ozark trail g1. you really need a 1700 dollar bike? especially if you aren’t an avid road rider? no shade and i’m sure they’re both awesome rides. also these bikes are huge. how tall are you?

I seriously hope you’re 6’5” or more because these are BIG bikes.

I’ve done 500 mile weekends on Walmart huffy’s.

FWIW, that Emonda is not a 2021. Trek switched to internal cabling and the wider down tube and logo starting that year

As others have said: cannondale to scratch the gravel itch, trek to stay on the road. Both look like quality bikes (but it is fb, buyer beware!). Try them both, buy what fits you better!

If you fit both definitely the ultegra one

Both are way too big for me but I lean more for the gravel bike.

I’m 6’4” and ride a 61cm All City. It’s a touch big for me, but had it refitted this spring and it was an amazing difference. Did 63 miles last Saturday and felt great.
Whichever one you get, get it professionally fitted for that distance.

150 miles isn’t some crazy distance. You need to decide what kind of riding you want to do first. Then look at bikes in that category.

Are the 150 miles on roads or gravel? If mixed what’s the ratio? If it is mostly paved the Emonda with 33 mm tubless tires. Otherwise use the gravel bike. The road bike is more efficient overall, but the gravel bike is better at mixed surfaces.

Based on seat setup you should know which one to pick.

Are you sure about the age of these bikes? Because for a 2021 Trek bike, there’s a lot of cable visible on the picture! I think they are way older

The trek is what I’m more adverse to pick. Better for long trips, get some new tires for it though.

Neither if you want to enjoy scenery. Drop bars are awful for the view. And safety too. But your tires might not puncture as you focus on the road.
