  1. He was a minute down on the other GC. The jersey is said to set you back 1 sec per km. So this puts in in perspective

  2. To me, this was a carefully calculated, dosed ITT by Jonas. For those who have lost their heads over this result, Jonas goal is all about winning the Giro with as little effort as possible. At the finish he looked tired, but his explosive top ITTs there put him on a completely different level. And only the competitors he easily beat in the very tough week 3 took time from him, while the strong climbers lost more time. Yes, he was tired, but not completely out of control. A controlled ITT.

  3. The Jonas hate is really starting to show face. Not sure why. The goal is to win the Giro with the least amount of effort so he can save for the TDF. It really is that simple
