Did you know that in 1962, a group of British students built a plane powered entirely by pedaling? 🚲✈️

Known as the SUMPAC, this incredible “flying bicycle” was built from wood and nylon in an attempt to win the famous Kremer Prize for human-powered flight. Despite having a massive wingspan, the whole thing weighed only about 100 pounds. The pilot had to pedal furiously to generate enough speed to take off. Even though they didn’t win the prize—steering the plane proved to be way too exhausting—they made history by proving that human-powered flight was actually possible!

  1. Cool. Now make one that runs on Kitty litter
Wait, isn't there a lot of urea in cat pee? And I think bacteria breaks that down into ammonia nh3.
However, nh3 has no carbon and releases zero carbon dioxide CO2 when burned
Hold on… I hear a knock at the door 😧
