53 miles David that’s a good run for you and you didn’t look at all jaded 💪🚴♂️I noted that Southport looked like a right shithole and is in decline like most old Northern Seaside towns . The days of Ken Dodd and Tommy Cooper are long gone which is a shame but a distant era . I went out after tea tonight Monday 18th with the forecast looking dry only to take yet again another good hammering of wind and a rain storm 🌧️The Met Office needs banning 😳Looking forward to your next outing Best Mike.
Liverpool, Crosby, Formby and Southport all my stomping ground. I also watched your Way of the Roses before I did mine.
This looked like a good ride out, but I’m surprised they let you on to the time trial course for the triathlon, must’ve finished by the time you got there. 🤷🏻♂️They close the coastal road off for it each year.
The wind blown sand at Crosby Beach blocking the now defunct cycle and walking path is an utter disgrace and the council won’t fix it because they’ve not got the resources.

Hi David, That looked like a really good ride. I’ve seen the tide come in at Lytham saint Ann once, while having a weekend break there. I had to go down the beach around 11 at night, but it had come all the way in and was a bit scary really. Stayed well back, but my dog wanted to jump in. Good job I kept her on the lead. That’s retrievers for you 😂 Just a thought. It would be great if you had a Facebook or Insta page linked to the channel. Subscribers could show us a few photos or routes we could all share, which we can’t really do on YouTube. Just a suggestion 😀👍
Getting more famous with each ride mate , and so well deserved, I always enjoy your videos and adventures, mostly on all the same roads and lanes I get out on too I’m going to have much more time to pedal too as I’m retiring on 28th May and I’m sure we will eventually pass each other on the roads or even in the queue at Lymm chippy Keep it going Sir 👍
