Getting an ICE Full Fat delivered in 2 weeks!

I'm trying to plan ahead for when the Jumbo Jims give out and would like your opinions and recommendations from people actually using them.

My intended use is all-year, all-season riding over pavement, fire-road, sandy beach, and any trail I can fit on. (i live on the coast and I won't be riding in the saltwater)

I also am unsure how big of a tire will fit and still clear the chain. Going to use an 11 speed cassette. (info on shimano linkglide would be welcome). I have 1000w e-assist Bafang. I would have gotten the Rohloff, but was told my motor has too much torque…so I stuck with the cassette.

Hard to say how much of an issue it would be in practice but be aware 45NRTH recommends against using their tires with e-bikes because of premature wear.

The bike is really cool though – looks fun.

Jumbo Jims are generally considered to be the best tires for anything other than snow and ice and it’s what the manufacturer chose, so there’s no reason to change.

I love the Jumbo Jims, but their awesome weight advantage is kind of negated with e power. They are still supple though.
