I am feeling cautious about this one. On paper it seems like a good deal but the fact that nearly nothing is listed by name, it’s got a lot of mismatched parts, and leading with the paint tells me this might be a bike built out of scraps. I would want to know what that frame started out as for sure. Eta- went and looked in my garage. That frame looks nearly identical to the malum park I have. Same tube gussets, same rear triangle brace. Almost the same color even, but that one’s likely been repainted as the ad says. If it turns out to be a chromoly frame, it’s worth it.

Doesn’t look bad at all, but as someone else already said, the missing detail in the parts description is a bit fishy

It’s 200 bucks, has an odyssey wheel, a picotal seat etc… it’s an okay price when you consider that the frame is fairly likely full hi-ten. Just about any Subrosa with non-removable brake mounts is hi-ten steel. That said I paid 100 for my first bike and it was a piece of shit lol. So if it’s in your area and your first bike, go for it. Just check for dents and possible cracks (although the seller probably covered up cracks with paint and maybe filled in dents with cheap filler).

Like the others here, I would suggest exercising caution. If there are “lots of high quality parts”, you would expect them to be listed individually. Also a little leery of “new strong chain, new cranks”… new is preferable, generally, over used but the brand is not listed. A new low quality generic crank isn’t going to be better than a used but well cared for high quality name brand one… and again, why not mention the company that makes it. I’m not saying they’re hiding things or definitely trying to rip you off but ask them some questions to get a fuller picture. If they are hesitant to answer or get annoyed with the inquiries, you should consider passing.
