Hey everyone!
Just ordered my Endurace CF SLX 7 Di2 in Atlantic Blue and can’t wait for it to arrive!
Quick question for those who’ve done the tubeless conversion on this bike: is it as simple as removing the inner tubes and adding sealant, or do I also need to replace the rim tape?
Are the stock DT Swiss wheels already tubeless-ready out of the box?
I already contacted Canyon customer service but got a super generic response saying they couldn’t tell me and that it depends on the model…
Thanks in advance! 🙌

At least on my Grizl AL the stock DT swiss wheels already had tubeless ready rim tape out of the box.
You will need new tubeless ready valves.
U need sealant and tubeless valves.
A compressor or some kind of pump booster is helpful for installation, but not a must. Or a co2 cartridge can also be helpful if the tyre doesn’t slip into place with just a normal pump.
I think DT Swiss doesn’t even have no-tubeless rim tape anymore.
They usually come with DT Swiss rim tape that makes it easy to use tubeless. My Rims also came with valves but it may have changed.
I can not recommend the conversation to TL with sealant unless you ride your bike very regularly and you’re willing to replace and replenish the liquid + are willing to deal with some mess.
When my Aeroad arrives I will go with TPU tube and may add sealant. It promises the advantages of both worlds.

yes, and they are really easy to put the tire, no air tank is required juste bike pump
