made it to the top! shoutouts to Faithgear for selling me the 43t Alter chainring that made it possible (43:20 climbing ratio). the last few km averaged 11%..
once I got to the top I flipped the rear wheel to a smaller cog and descended on 43:17. that sucked, i had to stop once to pour water on my front rim because I was paranoid it would overheat and blow my tubes. probably over thinking it, but I wanted to be safe.
