Today we headed out for the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2026 🏍️🎩

This year’s ride started at Launde Abbey before making our way through Rutland and Oakham, eventually finishing at the Carrington Arms in Ashby Folville alongside hundreds of other riders and some incredible bikes.

Thousands of riders across the world take part in the DGR each year to raise awareness and funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research, and despite the freezing cold ride over this morning, the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant 😅

In this video you’ll see:
🏍️ Amazing bikes
🎩 The DGR atmosphere
😂 Some cold weather struggles
📍 The ride through Rutland, Oakham and into Ashby Folville
👏 Support for an incredible cause

Massive respect to everyone who took part today and everyone who donated ❤️

  1. Love the Rocket at 4.50 in. Fair bit of tweaking done there, that air intake is wild, and a lot of carbon fiber. Two thumbs way up. Gray motor so it's a relatively early model. I'm biased, I have a Rocket Touring.

  2. Those pedestrian-slicing front numberplates always look cool but they don't really make a lot of sense, but it's a classic look.

  3. Great footage of a brilliant day! Drone footage really catptures the amount of bikes there!
Great to see you and Amy, both looking verry dapper!
I was there on the Rocket 3r. My 2 twin lads and my other half were at few points around the course waving everyone on as well (they had a great time)
I had to shoot off after food at Carrington, but looks like i missed the rain!

  4. A group ride, the worst thing to happen to motorcycling. he he. A nice selection of bikes there though. Thanks for the video!

  5. Bike of the day for me was the Norton Commando 850 – for the sentiment alone.. I have my late Dad's private number plate on my bike, my guardian angel is always with me. Great video as always, will have to do the DGR in 2027.

  6. lady amy, sir simon…your distinguishnesses – i am really impressed. 😀 😀 😀
i had a weekend in the austrian mountains at bad weather conditions. i think my T120 would´nt be accepted at gentlemans ride. she looked a little bit dakarish. 😀 😀 😀

  7. When I was at the TT in 78 an elderly couple with an Ariel Square Four and sidecar were staying at the same guest house. He took me round the circuit sat in the sidecar, I loved it.

  8. Great video I'm so glad you guys had a great day I had my fingers crossed for you to win the bike lol. See you in the next one 😊.

  9. Terrific content again, and you 2 looked superb in your matching outfits . Thanks for the time you take to provide this content for subscribers and anyone else who views it .

  10. & Another great vid 👌👏 ❤ thanks as always ! I really wanted to attend this but had some important family stuff happening, some lovely bikes on show – my personal faves were the Norvin & the Raleigh – works of art 🥰 Cheers Simon & Amy 👍👏🏍😎
