  1. that’s certainly more than true enough ! just make sure your spoke tension isn’t wildly uneven, as that’ll make it easy for the wheel to go out of true again. if you have a spoke tension gauge, you should aim for 5% variance (on one of my bikes I wouldn’t mind up to 10% variance, but on customer bikes it’s 5% at the highest) on each side (the non-drive side has higher tension because of the disc brake), but if you don’t… just make sure the spokes don’t feel different from one another on each side.

    It’s true enough for my own bike just riding around/commuting.
    It’s true enough if it was a mangled wheel that is getting repaired as inexpensive as possible

    It’s not true enough for a new wheel build or a high end road bike for a customer.
