Depends on the position on the handlebars, but you might have trouble actually getting these in the right position so it’ll fold properly. Brompton levers are shorter to clear the frame when folding.

Your other slight issue might be that if you have to position them differently to the standard levers then you could find that the cables are a bit tight, because the outer cables are cut to almost millimetre precision so they don’t snag.

If you don’t know how to change a brake lever then you’re going to need YouTube. You’ll need to disconnect the brakes at the calliper to get enough slack to remove the inner from the lever end.

But if you’ve got integrated brakes and shifters then you’re shit out of luck because you’ll need to also replace your shifters.

Bromptons are extremely well packaged in terms of all the components and tolerances on the bike. It’s not straightforward to just whip parts off and replace them without having an impact on other components.

  2. How to install the new lever?

These work the exact same way as the stock levers.

The measurements are probably close enough too that you can just use the stock hosing if they aren’t worn out, but you may as well take the opportunity to change out the brake cables. But have a check.

  3. Do you already have an adapter or something for the gear shifter if it’s one of the ones that are integrated with the brake levers?

Also if these are the knockoffs, they have a ton of play in the lever arms. I did a 3D printed solution to make them better: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVjoa1HDiwl/?igsh=MjczZmJiMGQ1ZGg5

Also the reach adjustment screw looks like it has a bit of thread locker but might be good to add some more if you adjust it.

Other than that it’s a pretty easy swap, there’s no issues with interference with the fold if you position them the same way as the standard levers

  4. Careful with the bolts to hold it onto the handlebar, they are very delicate and easy to strip!!!

I really wouldn’t recommend these levers. had a pair on another bike of mine, and the front brake lever snapped while I was using it. Not good at all.
