I haven't done this but found it in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden in Germany. I was hiking & found this sign, couldn't resist myself from taking this picture.
I have done up to 20% but 26% is brutal. How hard could this be?
I’ve tried 24% a couple of times, last time I lost balance. Made a move to regain balance, that made me turn around. 24% downhill is easier I can tell you.

It’s horrible. In the turns it is even more than 26%. It’s actually frightening going downhill there, as it’s a Asphalt road through a forest. Which means it’s often wet and dirty.

Yeah, baby. That’s a challenge.

Depends on the length. I’ve climbed 25% but it was just 200 meters. Probably cannot finish a kilometre.

I’ve done multiple over 20% (Italian Alps) and a 25% recently near Vienna. I can survive, not maintain any kind of minimum pace. The Garmin Edge Auto Pauses

I’ve always liked this one. Highway 4, Sierra Nevada western slope, Bear Valley, California.
I live in the islands in Scotland so I’m used to some fairly steep hills (local island next to me is just an average of 16% in all directions).
But I went on holiday down to the Yorkshire Dales one year, I saw a sign 25%, ok, no problem, got to the top turned a corner, another sign 25%, feeling it now, got to the top and yup, another 25% sign.
Strangely enough, I’d ran out of time and had to head back…

The high elevation makes it extra fun.

10/10, would recommend Yorkshire for cycling.
