  1. A difficult day but you came through well–cycling not only requires physical but also mental toughness and you both have those attributes. Sorry about the dogs, which is never a nice experience, but just concentrate on the croissants ahead! There will be positive experiences too on the road ahead.

  2. Remember your why kind of day eh?
You dug deep this one, the pair of you..
When that happens, eat abundantly and go to sleep as swiftly as you can for tomorrow is another day, it will come with its own challenges and opportunities and you've got to be ready to seize them.

    Come on Amy and Kyle!
And what about all of those shepherds attempting to bite at y'all calves ?
They mistaken those for meat sticks !

  3. I’m amazed at you two! After 16 days at 250+km’s a day I’d be done, but you and Kyle are an inspiration to us all. Keep up the great work and spirit we’re all rooting for you!

  4. i was feeling sorry for myself having just cycled 35km through the pissy rain… watched this and wow – you guys are really toughing it out – hugs from Melbourne!

  5. "Mercedes" days are horrid. (Someone came up with this as being the day you really want to trade in the bike for a Merc.) I had 100 miles over 2 days with strnog headwnds this week. I share your pain.

  6. Dogs are funny. My approach (not recommended!) is to stop, grab my water bottle and level up with the pup, and say, “Alright, let’s go!” A show of bravado makes 95% of dogs show their true colors as they run away. As for the others, well I might eventually need a new approach…
