Hi! I’m trying to buy a bike from the second-hand market. Does anyone know if this is a 3-speed or a 6-speed Brompton? Also, how much does this usually go for? It was bought in 2021 and barely used.

6-speed
Looks like a 6 speed. I see the 3 Spd hub plus the derailleur which would only be on a 6 speed.

Easiest way to tell visually is the two gear shifters—one on each handlebar.
As everyone else has said 6 speed.
There 4 cables. 2 brakes and 2 shifters. It has old type chain tensioner (not a mk6/advanced triangle) so it’s 2 gears in the back and 3 internal hub (2×3 so 6 speed). No rack so L. Has extra inch and a bit more between steering hinge and headset so H handlebars. So it’s h6l or high handlebar 6 speed no rack c line.
It kinda looks like a lacquer color of some sort. This may increase the price.
Pricing it’s going to depend on your local conditions. Check fb marketplace. For example this would probably be cheapest in London, UK as the bromptons are plentiful there.
