  1. When I last visited London, I often would bike around if I didn’t want to catch the tube (great system, but I avoided it at peak hour) or it was a nice day. The British are much nicer to cyclists compared to my home country. I never had any issues.

  2. I watched several documentaries by Dan Snow and than I googled him and learned that his father was Peter Smow and that he is married to ome of the Grosvenor….. of course that he has this great job… that's how our society works… it would be ridiculous to give the job of a presenter to an ordinary guy… 😂

  3. I visited London for the first time in April 2023 and had a very typical American awakening/culture shock. I knew it was old but some of the buildings I couldn’t wrap my mind around just how old and how long they had been there

  4. This is an actually brilliant format for explaining history! Thank you, Dan for this great video! Also if you don't mind answering, what are the musics used in the video?

  5. Dan please can you tell us the camera you use it the harness and the complet kit asking for a friend
I think this kit is perfect for me riding my smart wheelchair at 4miles speed

  6. Great tour and very informative. I really enjoyed the sights and your narration. Will you please turn off the music. I enjoy ambient sounds. You're riding a bike through central London and you're blasting music into every single quiet moment. I want to hear Picadilly and Downing Street. Why Youtubers all of a sudden got it in their heads that they had to fill every moment of silence with music is beyond me.

  7. It seems London just cleared the way for Dan, no harried traffic at all… And, thanks to Dan for staying in the street while transitting, an 'Amurkan' would ride the sidewalks illegally… Oops, spoke too soon, don't you have to tell that lorry your are cutting across him to get into that Knight's Templar street? Yeah! Leadenhall, where Vince and Andy filmed "Love to Hate You". Well Done, Lad, Well done!

  8. Very British, riding your upright bike. Good on you Dan. Keep pedaling your historic wares!
Have you pedaled through USA historical cities?

  9. London's history is unconcievable for me. I live in Brazil and our history kinda started in 1500 A.D., since we were colonized by Portugal. It's really rare to find buildings and/or artifacts from those earlier centuries here, so what ends up being "old" for me is 19th century haha! London is a whoooole other deal, buildings built more than 500 years before our history even started. I really want to travel to europe for a WW1 Western Front tour, but I'll surely stop by London 🙂
