A small plastic/rubber cover has come off near my front derailleur on my TT bike and I can’t figure out where it’s supposed to go. The bike still shifts fine, but the little piece is now dangling on a small tether/wire.
I’ve attached photos — does anyone know what this part is called and where it clips back in?
Bike has Shimano Ultegra front derailleur.

The plastic prong on the underside of the cover fits into the hex bolt which clamps the cable. You will need to loop the cable round to point towards the back of the bike then it should make a bit more sense
Shift into the inner ring, and wrap the cable under the lip of the front mech and round the back. Just do what I did and misplace that thing the first week.
