I’ve used a bontrager mik rack to carry 25-40lbs. Works great. I don’t recommend buying a 25lb bag of rice and loading it on one side of the rack, but it DID work.

I habitually overloaded the tortec expedition (rated 35kg) on my old mtb for years before finally getting a cargo bike. Rack is still going strong.

I’ve had excellent luck with the Axiom Streamliner–but I don’t use the standard “feet” they sell with it.
