You can find the original spec on the Santa Cruz website, look for the bike archive.

Old. Probably about 15-20 years old. I don’t think it’s worth $500 unless you’re really interested in old Santa Cruzes.

  3. The swing arm says it’s a Superlight 3, made from 2007-2013. I think after that they were 29″ only.

I rode my superlight last night! Had a blast and it is still a great bike after all these years, but it is *really* dated in a lot of ways compared to bikes from like 2018 and onward. 500 is probably more than it’s worth based on that.

superlight is a classic but 26er parts are getting hard to find. $500 is steep unless it’s immaculate – check [bicycle blue book](https://featherab.com/shopit?bicycle+blue+book) for actual value. i’d offer $300 max and put the rest toward a newer hardtail. also inspect the rear triangle for cracks – those older santacruzs had issues. pass if the shock feels dead.
