Hi guys,
I currently want to buy some new cycling shoes. I am doing long distance triathlon so long bikes. Currently I have some cheap Shimano RP3 in size 46 which I use since starting 2 years ago without issues. However I realized that those are probably too big after seeing some photos (didn't feel like that but that is because I do not have any comparison).
I don't have any issues like numb toes or so.
I therefore wanted to ask you whether my feet would be considered wide? As I am debating between Lake 239 or Shimano 903 (I want to upgrade performance wise and read that carbon sole really does make a big difference).
My second toe is slightly longer than the big one and I have a very slight Hallux Valgus on the left foot according to my doctor.
Thank you 🙂

hard to say brother
go by feel. some cyclists love tight fit and some as me like the wider comfy fit… although my feet aren’t that wide i wear R5 Wide and i feel like a king in my longer rides
I will get Nimble as my next road shoes.
There also Bont, Q36.5, Lake, that are wider toebox or offers wider version. Half valgus adds a little to width.
