Review of Lake Tahoe Basin Trails Project and the 45 miles of new trails that were approved

This January, Tahoe Area Mountain Bike Association helped get the USFS Basin Wide Trails Project officially approved and it's bringing 45 MILES of new trail to the Tahoe Basin.

The big question: where are all these new trails going?!?

After reviewing the 220+ page proposal here are the trail additions you should be most hyped about:

1. Panorama trail network (in and around Heavenly Mountain resort)
2. Meeks Ridge trails
3. Tyrolean (or Tyrolian?) Uphill
4. Waterhouse Peak Loop
5. Corral climbing trail
6. Potential downhill trail from near Big Meadow TH to Meyers
