The organisers should be charged with attempted murder. The peloton was going at full speed, and in the final kilometre the road switched from tarmac to cobblestones, with two 90-degree bends on those cobblestones. It’s a crime!

It’s my understanding that the race organizers and the uci and the riders representative body have to approve the safety of this shit. We know that race organizers are useless at it. The uci are too busy checking the height of your socks. But surely ex pro riders look at that and say “this is complete bollox, people will get hurt”

The worst stage I've ever seen. Motorways on a Grand tour? Was that the only way to Naples? What a showcase of the city?

What a great idea to have a sprint stage finish on slippery cobbles, which wouldn't have been perfect even if dry. Even better, let them take the final corner at speed on the cobbles as well. I think the directors are thinking of the viewing spectacle more than the cyclists safety.
Shame they couldn't run the grand prix races as well to make those more interesting, maybe have a few fire jumps they have to clear or they have to refuel from a moving tanker.
But lets ban narrow bars for safety!

The SL8 speed sniffer hiding behind the XDS Chinese bikes on the sprint? The influencers and Specialized marketing team said is 16.6% faster and the fastest in the Peloton. They should have the advantage against the Chinese brand…How come? Most importantly why hiding behind your rival?
