Had a tour planned for the long weekend and stubbornly went despite heavy snowfall in the forecast… managed to make it over the Euschelspass in a blizzard. Thankfully we had booked an Alphütte at the top so we could dry out and have a fondue. We woke up to a decent amount of snow and no improvement in the weather on day two. We debated continuing our plan but decided in the end that heading up another blizzardy pass (plus another two passes planned on day 3) wasn’t realistic. Home safe now warming up. No shame throwing in the towel after what we accomplished on the first day! Was also a great test for our new adventure touring rigs! less
