I want to start mountain biking more and would like to do so on a budget. I found these two that are my size and wondered what y'all think about them. The Specialized is old, and will be just more expensive to maintain in the future, but it seems decently well taken care of and has some good parts on it. However, it's mostly stock. The NSBikes is a lot newer and also seems to also have through axles, but the pictures are hard to see. I haven't asked the seller yet. What do y'all think?

Check them out in person, but the hardtail without a doubt.
Bikes changed a LOT between 2010 and 2018.
get the hardtail for sure. who gives a shit about braided shifter cables and carbon risers vs 1x and a dropper. that specialized shock is a timebomb too
