Terrible stage design. Crash highly predictable. Popcorn in very poor taste TNT. Everyone needs to do better.
Pro racing isn't supposed to be a controlled lab experiment. Imagine crashing during a nature break because you weren't looking, then having the nerve to complain about safety at the finish.
That is nuts!! Race organizers should be shot~ "We need to take into account that it's usually wet, so, let's have a sharp turn just before the bunch sprint finish!", then, "Hey, let's add cobbles!!!"๐ก. WTF are these morons thinking?? I feel esp. bad for Milan & Dylan๐. Great effort by Magnier to finish 3rd. I AM happy for Ballerini, though~ Congrats!! ๐๐๐
This yearโs Giro has disastrous sprint courses. What a shame.
What's with the cobbled sprints. Stupid. No riders or fans care that the finish line is down town. Only local politicians. And this after stage 3 with 300m cobbles and Milan almost losing his back wheel. This is supposed to be the pinnacle.
Totally agree with @johnsale5436 what is with the stage design? It has lost all its appeal as a mountain grand tour. The spark just isnโt there. The stages are boring.

Pros have been crashing forever in sketchy( and even non-sketchy conditions). Imagine being on drugs, and having a motor then tell me not crashing is easy..
