Having just taken my bottle cages off the Inflite ahead of some CX racing tomorrow, I’ve noticed there’s an opening into the frame which is now uncovered (and open to the elements of a wet cross race..)
Just wondering if anyone can advise what, if anything, should be covering this? Or can tell me what the heck it is for?

All normal, that plastic bit holds the hoses/cables inside the down tube and prevent them from rattling
