Had some rear canti posts brazed on at 650b height by my lbs and swapped the stock fork for a New Albion 650b fork. Can of spray bike "Grifter" paint for that riv look without the riv price.

How’s the bottom bracket drop? Any issues with pedal strikes after switching to 650b? How wide are those tires?
What was making the bar wrap like? Seems like leather and curvy bars aren’t a great combination.
