Is it a good bike and what is it worth?
And what size and what bike would be good for a 9.5 year old? I like low standover like trek precaliber. Is 20 inch/20-21tt too small? Because its pretty much adult bmx size and he more rides around anyway. His bike now us 20 wheels/18 tt but bmx style. Does it matter when its a mtb vs bmx? what bikes should keep an eye out for 2nd hand? i considered the ozt fs, is it a bad bike?

2019 or 2020 YT jeffsy. I have a 2018, it’s a fantastic bike, worth 5k new, 2.5 second hand easy. Trail bike with enduro leaning geometry. A true do it all bike, I ride mine on local trails and bike parks in the alps. The next years had fox 36, mine has fox 34 forks.
Edit: bikes were a little cheaper back then, pre 2020. Probably less than 2.5 / 5k.
Likely to have 27.5 inch wheels and a carbon frame.
This will be a huge upgrade for him, it’ll feel like going from a banged up old ford fiesta to a brand new m3.
