I honestly was thinking of something like this a few days ago for touring and carrying a pair of 2.5 gallon bags of water so I can go 4-6 days without popping in on civilization and be keeping the mass down low so the bike maybe possibly is somewhat flickable.

I really really want a tallbike.
Even bought a Tandem to use as a base for one. But then it turned out to be in pretty good shape, and riding a tandem is also pretty fun, so now I’m looking for a worse tandem.
£1200 is a lot tho, I’d rather spend £800 on parts, £200 in welding supplies, and about 60hrs of work to get a result that probably won’t be as good.

Mine isn’t as fancy, but it’s taller and cost me about £70 in materials. Also in that region, everyone and their mum is packing tall bikes around here.
