Going to put the Bontrager warranty to the test today. I hit a giant pothole that was filled with water on our group ride last night. From everything I’ve read, it should be a straightforward claim.
I’m sure there are plenty of people who have taken advantage of the warranty, but are there any horror stories out there?

That’ll be a crash replacement, not a warranty.
If you are the original owner and it is within 2 years of purchase you’ll be fine.
Outside of that, they may only offer a discounted replacement.
Definately a clear case for crash replacement. They will say obvious impact damage blah blah blah…..basically they give you 20% off or some other insultingly low discount and expect you to buy another set. I recommend to just get another brand of wheels and take the L, not advisable to get another set and always be worried about the same thing happening again.

Good luck but this looks to be a case of “your fault” and not a faulty product. You even fucked the tire.
How long have you owned the wheel ? If it’s longer than 2 years this will be a crash replacement and will not be fully covered and will cost you something
Is it eithin 2 years of purchase? If not crash warranty is what covers you here
