Welcome back to our European Roadtrip in Millie the Motorhome 🚐 We’ve left the Alps and made our way north west to Le Bourget du Lac, staying at a brilliant motorhome aire next to the lake that allows up to 4 nights in peak season and 7 nights out of season – with the bonus of being able to use the facilities at the adjoining campsite 🚐🇫🇷
After a quick mooch around the bottom of Lac du Bourget, we decided to head out on what we thought would be a flat and easy bike ride but things didn’t quite go to plan!! Instead, we found ourselves tackling an unexpected mountain climb but we were rewarded with an absolutely stunning view over the lake.
The following day, Mark takes on an even bigger challenge – cycling up Mont du Chat, one of the toughest climbs in the area, before we pack up and head off towards our next destination on our European motorhome adventure.

We flew in to Chambery airport (tiny) owned by TUI this new year to go snowboarding at Vaujany/L'alpe Duez, wondered what it would be like around there in summer, now i know and want to take our camper down there.
