After two test commutes with this guy, I felt it was good enough dig out and salvage the fenders and rack from my neglected old bike.
I would like to refurbish the old one as well but I haven't worked on any bikes before, and this was cheaper than paying someone to do it for me.

Nice. Most peculiar problem I’ve faced with my cheaper bike (not the same a 2020 something raleigh) is all of a sudden one day I noticed I had hanging spokes on the rear wheel. Probably could’ve stopped it from happening by getting a spoke wrench earlier and always making sure my tires were the proper psi. I’m planning to do a tear down and rebuild at 1000 miles or before if I get the tools sooner because I am fearful the lubrication during construction was subpar.
I have that same trunk bag, going on 8 years now. It’s great.
It’s so good that I’d love to buy another one, just to have on hand when mine finally breaks down, but it’s a discontinued bag.
Pretty cool. I just noticed the disk brakes. Are those rims aluminum? I like the black paint.
