There’s bunny hopping both wheels at a time which will eventually get you onto the ledge… but there’s a better way, some call it bunny hop, some call it J hop some will say bronco, essentially fromt wheel lifts up then you scoop your back wheel. Ultimately learning the proper way to do it will progress you farther faster.
You need to actually learn a bunnyhop.
The diffrence is you are hopping with both tires at the same time.
This is an issue because you cant get much higher and also look where your rear wheels leaves the ground and where the edge is you want to jump over. (Also for a feeble the two tire hop doesnt give you best control)
In a bunnyhop you are lifting up the front wheel first and then jump of the rear. With a bhop you can get higher hops and gain more control jumping on,over and off stuff.
Watch some how to bunnyhop videos.
I learned to 180 and grind as well with this hop, but to progress a “real” bunnyhop is necessary.
I would keep my health #1 priority.
Proper warmup, cooldown. No stupid spontaneous trys.
And with that mindset just participate in riding for some time til u get a feeling for the bike.
Then I’d go and try proper bunny hop technique, learning rollbacks and the fundamentals.
Your back wheel should leave at the top of the lip.
