Wow what can I say, the C&O canal to GAP trail was amazing. Rode from Washington DC to Pittsburgh PA in 5 days. Amazing trail and gravel along the way! Was also nice to not have to deal with any cars the whole way just about. First time doing this trail and would highly recommend. We did a mix of camping, stayed at a lock house one of the nights and ended up staying at an inn in ohiopyle state park due to all our gear being soaked from rain the night before and not having time to dry it out. 1. Looks like a great ride. I’m in DC and have always wanted to ride the C&O. How did you plan your route?
