  1. All karats of gold should be in your collection because different shades go best with different outfits. Lighter coloured clothing looks best with lighter gold and 22k looks gorgeous with dark colours. .

  2. If we’re talking about LOOKS: 14K if you wanna stand out, look authentic, and not have people question if your gold is solid. Most people are walking around wear “fake” gold anyways, and it’s usually plated in 18K/22K. So when you have on legit, SOLID 18K/22K, you’re gonna blend right in with the crowd cause everyone has that same shade of dark yellow

  3. For me, 18k or higher is real gold — 14k isn’t gold at all, and 22k is simply beautiful. I have a 22k solid bangle that’s much stronger than people claim; they always say gold is too soft for jewelry, but that’s exaggerated. Most of my gold is Portuguese (about 80%) or French 18k, and I also have some gold watch cases. What I mean is that gold’s softness is often overstated — silver is soft too yet it’s used at 92% purity. So why is gold so heavily diluted? And honestly, when you see 10k gold, it looks pale yellow… yet some people still defend it, which makes me laugh.

  4. Lol because most chains in the replica market use a 18-22k coating, authentic chains in that purity reminds me of fake chains even though they are higher purity!

  5. Prefer the 10k gold tone the darker yellow just don’t look right on my skin tone not to mention I’ve broken every 24k gold chain I’ve ever had end up spending more in repairs than the cost of the actual chain every trip but bc of social status tryna be cool blowin money nah I’m good wit the 10k & 14k
