how hard would it be to fix this up and un-coaster brake this bmx?
It’s and old diamondback and i got it from a yard sale for like 10 bucks, it obviously needs stuff like new grips and a chain cleaning but what else should I be aware of? I’ve ridden bikes forever but I’ve recently been interested in bmx

Honestly? I’d not bother with this. It’s a base model race oriented cruiser. So the time and effort isn’t gonna really be worth it here
Looks fly and I bet all basic tricks could be done within minutes. Good sessions for months for sure.
I remember having to ride with just one grip too, easy workarounds, no problem.

thats a just fine cruiser bike not really good for doing tricks.You can sell it 10 bucks again or give it to a kid
