Interesting video, I always like to check out the shops when I visit China. With this video it seems that the prices are similar to prices on the floor of Giant shops in Canada. But the difference may be in that the taxes aren't included in the prices here in Canada, and that adds 13-15% to the price, whereas I think China prices include any sales tax.

Hey Mohsin, interesting stuff. Here in the UAE those bikes are about the same number in AED as they are in RMB so pretty much twice the price.
I’ll save up then go on short vacation in China, buy my bike and bring it to uk as used bike on my return flight. Win win for me

I bought Giant Defy Advanced 1 in October. Euro price is around 3200e. Sold stock wheels and invested in Light Bicycles Turbo wheelset 700e for 1430g. Changed bar,stem,seatpost and saddle to my liking and got banger of a bike , around 8kg. Stock was 8.9kg.
Man, everything is so much more expensive in the EU, just everything.

When you have more people in the supply chain taking a cut, they add it to the price the final consumer pays. It's the same for a UK mini in China.
Do they have big reductions on old stock? Can you still buy 2024 models and how big of a reduction do you get from the original retail price?

My God the price differences between there and in the UK are astonishing. I would genuinely take a flight to China to buy a new TCR when mine needs replacing, just to save all that money .Even with the flight price I would still be saving money.
